Its about time this webpage got a face lift...
*Gina--here it is... since you have been asking that i update my pix...kisses Beanie from
Mayumi!
The biggest reason why we haven't had too many updates (aside from the fact that Yumi became mobile
and our lives turned into a constant whirlwind of commotion!) was that we left our camera on the hood of the car coming home
from Krystal's birthday party ('03). By the time we figured where the unusual "thud/scrapping" sounds were coming from,
we had just sped up to enter the freeway... You can imagine what state Pete found our "camera" --all shrewn across the Loma
Linda I-10 onramp...
THAT camera incident has left me dry and barren-- in the creativity department. We did get a video
cam--but aside from the Lolo/Lola & Nana & Grampie--who wants to thumb thru countless gigabytes of Yumi's gurgles and
tottering steps, and x renditions of "Twinkle, twinkle"? Besides, you'd also have to put up with my rather annoying blow-by-blow
descriptions and remarks!
*TIP: to those new parents who have just acquired the memory catching video cam--- TRY
NOT TO TALK!!!! you'll hate your voice and how high pitched your sound when addressing your child... seriously! I watch
things in mute now.
But I digress--- the BIG issue-- our camera, our main venue of sharing our lives with you via this
webpage...
THE GRRRRRRREAT NEWS!
My wonderful, and generous hubby got me a 7.1 Megapixel Canon ... whoopie!
(which to many is no biggie but to the super picky--we know that anything less than a 5.1 is still
just soooo pixelated, so why even bother, right? Hence the main reason why i've been dragging my feet on switching
to digital...)
--I know i will be rolling in my wheelchair reading this 40 yrs from now since digi. cams
might even be obsolete by then!!!!!
Sooo the GOOD NEWS is now I have TONS of pictures to share ---
AND, oh, by the way --
We're MOVING to EGYPT.
